During the summer we have had lots of action, New clients, awarded grant from the US and ongoing development of HSEQ Reports. Here is a summary of it all:
- Mellora has been awarded a second SHIP-grant from the Department of Labor & Industries in Washington, USA. SHIP is a grant program under the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) within the Department of Labor & Industries. SHIP funds Safety & Health (S&H) ideas that prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities, and projects for developing and implementing an effective and innovative Return-to-Work (RTW) program for injured workers. The grant will be used to develop a Safety Reporting System in partnership with the Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association. This grant will provide means for users to add languages, pictures and other aids to promote SAW/RTW activities for employees of all language and English reading levels to allow them to perform productive tasks and remain working. Miles Sand and Gravel will also be providing support.
- Pasco Processing in the USA, part of Oregon Potato Group (http://www.oregonpotato.com), has signed up as a new client. The company deal within food processing. Using a customised Safety and Quality reporting- and processing system from Mellora will help them improve their internal processes and reduce risks at all levels. We look forward to help yet another client with our easy to use software.
- HSEQ Reports is updated with a number of new features. First out is a send function that allows you to press a button directly in the system when sending e.g. a Near Miss to a defined recipient. This simplifies the sending process radically. We also work with features to perform multiple operations at once (e.g. delete multiple reports in a single time). All these new developments will of course benefit all customers (but only those with the latest version of HSEQ Reports), without any costs or increase in license.
